León y Castillo Maritime Terminal

The León y Castillo Terminal is located at the León y Castillo Pier, Puerto de las Palmas, with direct access to the berthing line. It has an area of 4,194 m2 (1,685 m2 covered, 2,509 m2 discovered).

Covered Warehouse

  • Surface: 1.685 m2.
  • Monitored, Controlled and restricted Access.
  • Uses and destination: Logistic Activities (Storage, Deposit, Haulage, Distribution,…) of any kind of cargo.
  • Warehouse measures: 67,40 mtrs. Length x 25 mtrs. Width (possibility of stocking up to 7,50 and 9,50 mtrs. tall at its tallest point.
  • Structure: Gable roof without central pillars and a gate of Access with 5,5 mtrs. tall and 6 mtrs wide (which makes possible the access of machinery and transports).

Uncovered Area

  • Surface: 2.509 m2.
  • Monitored, Controlled and restricted Access.
  • Uses and destination: Logistic Activities (Storage, Deposit, Haulage, Distribution,…) of any kind of cargo.
  • It disposes of 1 loading bay for containers.
  • Direct Access from the berthing line at Pier León y Castillo.
  • Acess from Pier Muelle de los Cambulloneros (100 mtrs far from the berthing and operations area).
  • Overdimensioned gate of access (16 meters) for handling of out of gauge cargo.

Logistic areas for project

  • 20.000 m2 of logistic area for storage of Wind Energy Components at the Port of Arinaga (Gran Canaria).
  • 6.000 m2 available at the Port of Arinaga for bulk cargoes.
  • 15.000 m2 of Logistic Surface at the Port of Granadilla (Tenerife).
